Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Vorn ("Vorn", "we", "us") collects when you visit www.wearvorn.co or buy from us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

It covers our online store only. It does not cover other companies' websites that we link to.

Questions about anything below? Write to us at help@wearvorn.co

1. Information you give us

When you place an order, contact support, or sign up for our emails, you give us some or all of the following:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your shipping and billing address;
  • your phone number, if you provide one for delivery;
  • the contents of your order and its history;
  • anything you write to us in a support message or a product review.

We do not collect or store your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment providers, who receive your card details directly. We see only the outcome of the transaction and a partial identifier, such as the last four digits and the card brand.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most online stores, our Site records some technical information whenever you visit:

  • your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
  • your browser and device type, operating system, and screen size;
  • the pages you view, how long you stay, and which site or ad referred you;
  • the date and time of your visit.

This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5) and is used mainly in aggregate, to understand how the store is used and where it can be improved.

3. Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from our payment providers (whether a payment succeeded, and fraud-risk signals), from shipping carriers (delivery status), and from advertising platforms (aggregate reporting on how our ads perform). We may also receive data from analytics providers about how visitors reach and use the Site.

4. Why we use your information

We use what we collect to:

  • process your order, take payment, and ship it to you;
  • send you order confirmations, tracking updates, and other service messages;
  • handle returns, refunds, warranty claims, and support requests;
  • send marketing emails, when you have asked to receive them;
  • measure and improve how the Site and our advertising perform;
  • detect and prevent fraud and misuse of the Site;
  • comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (to fulfil your order), your consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, improving the store, measuring our advertising), and compliance with legal obligations (keeping transaction records).

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them to:

  • keep your cart and session working as you move between pages — these are essential and the store cannot function without them;
  • remember your preferences, such as currency and language;
  • measure traffic and understand which pages perform well;
  • show you our ads on other platforms and measure whether they led to a purchase.

Advertising and analytics cookies are set by third parties, including our advertising platforms, which receive your IP address when they load. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, and where a consent banner is shown you can decline non-essential cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent checkout from working.

6. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties that help us run the store, and only with what they need:

  • Shopify, which hosts the store and processes orders on our behalf;
  • payment providers, to take payment and screen for fraud;
  • shipping carriers and fulfilment partners, who need your name and address to deliver your order;
  • email and analytics providers, to send our messages and measure how the store is used;
  • advertising platforms, to run and measure our campaigns;
  • professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information, or need to establish or defend a legal claim.

If our business is ever sold or reorganised, customer information may transfer to the new owner as part of that transaction.

7. International transfers

We ship worldwide and our service providers operate in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live, including in the United States. Where information is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

8. How long we keep it

We keep order and transaction records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support correspondence is kept while it may still be relevant to your order or a warranty claim. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Technical and analytics data is kept in aggregate form.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • receive your information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it;
  • opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising.

To exercise any of these, email wearvorn.co@gmail.com. We will respond within the period required by the law that applies to you, and within 30 days wherever possible. We may need to verify your identity first. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of each one — this does not stop service messages about an order you have placed.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

10. Children

Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Security

Our store runs over an encrypted connection, and payments are processed by providers that meet industry security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and limit who can access it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in how we operate or in the law. The current version is always on this page. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear.
